St Peter's church tower will be open to visitors on Sunday 20th July on our Tower Trips Day, from 1:30 to 5pm. It is quite an adventurous climb up the winding staircase, but the view from the top of the tower makes it all worthwhile. See how the town is changing from this vantage point right in the High Street. There will be an opportunity to view the bells, and have a guided tour of the bellringing chamber, on the way up the tower, and cream teas will be available in the church to round off your visit.

The tower is only open to visitors once a year, so put the date in your diary now.

Cost per person: Tower trip £1.50; Cream tea £2.00.
