| A
perennial favourite with bargain hunters is the Petertide Fair bric-a-brac sale.
This year the popular
bric-a-brac again takes place inside St Peters church, with even more space for all those
bargains, and echoing the medieval use of churches for markets. Tables will be heaving
with a huge selection of secondhand housewares, furniture, garden equipment,
odds and ends, and of course our well-known second hand book stall. You never know what
treasures might be lurking! We cannot accept mains powered electrical
items.
Come early to get the best bargains - the
bric-a-brac opens promptly at 10am (no 'previewing' is allowed!). And don't forget to bring a
large car!
If you're doing some Spring
cleaning then remember that the bric-a-brac would welcome any saleable items that you no
longer need. Just get in touch with
Graham Bashford - collections can be arranged, or you can simply leave
the items in the boxes at the west end of St Peter's church (near the main door) before
the day of the Fair.
