Here at St Peter's we aim to give glory to God through Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit by: the offering of our best in worship; encouraging and providing opportunity for all, both young and old, to grow in their experience, knowledge and love of God; witnessing to God's love in the world through service to the parish and community. In addition to the regular services, we hold monthly healing services and occasional Taizé-style services, and principal Feast Days and Holy Days are observed. St Peter's Church dates back to the early 13th century and, being open throughout the day, provides a place of quiet and prayer in the heart of the town.
