THE SIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTER      16 MAY 2004

Eucharistic Prayer E may be used at Holy Communion Services today

We welcome all who worship here today.   If you are a newcomer please speak to one of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.   We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or on the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the welcomers.   Communicant members of all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion.   If you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows.

Collect:  Risen Christ, by the lakeside you renewed your call to your disciples:  help your Church to obey your command and draw the nations to the fire of your love, to the glory of God the Father.   AMEN

Readings:  Acts 16:9-15;     Revelation 21:10, 22 – 22:5;     John 14:23-29

Post Communion:  God, our Father, whose Son Jesus Christ gives the water of eternal life:  may we thirst for you, the spring of life and source of goodness, through him who is alive and reigns, now and for ever   AMEN

We pray this week

for Christopher our Bishop and for Christopher and Richard his suffragans

for all the schools in the parish;  their staff,  pupils and governors;  and our special responsibilities towards Victoria First School and Thomas Coram Middle School.
