news for pews

THE FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER 9 MAY 2004
Eucharistic
Prayer E may be used at Holy Communion Services today
We welcome all who worship here
today. If you are a newcomer please
speak to one of the welcomers or to one of the clergy. We invite you to complete a card which you

to one of the welcomers. Communicant
members of all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please
come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows.
Collect: Risen Christ, your wounds declare your love for the world and the wonder of your risen life: give us compassion and courage to risk ourselves for those we serve, to the glory of God the Father. AMEN
Post Communion: Eternal God, whose Son Jesus
Christ is the way, the truth, and the life:
grant us to walk in his way, to rejoice in his truth, and to share his
risen life; who is alive and reigns, now
and for ever AMEN
We pray this week
for Christopher our Bishop and for Christopher and
Richard his suffragans
for Geoffrey
Tristram of the Society of St John the Evangelist and
