THE PARISH OF BERKHAMSTED St Peter’s with All Saints’ |
![]()

The SEVENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY 3 August 2003
Eucharistic Prayer F or G may be used at Holy Communion Services
today
We welcome all who worship here
today. If you are a newcomer please
speak to one of the welcomers or to one of the clergy. We invite you to complete a card which you
will find in your pew, or on the table near the door of the church, and hand it
to one of the welcomers. Communicant
members of all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please
come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows.
Collect: Generous God, you give us gifts and make them grow: though our faith is small as mustard-seed, make it grow to your glory and the flourishing of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
Readings: Exodus 16.2-4, 9-15, Ephesians 4.1-16, John 6.24-35
Post Communion: Lord God, whose Son is the
true vine and the source of life, ever giving himself that the world may
live: may we so receive within
ourselves the power of his death and passion that, in his saving cup, we may
share his glory and be made perfect in his love; for he is alive and reigns, now and for ever. AMEN
We pray this week
for Christopher our Bishop and for Christopher and
Richard his suffragans
for the
Centre for the elderly at Gossoms End, for the Hospice of St Francis and for the
Iain Rennie Hospice at home, for those who need care and for those who provide
care in many ways.
for
the lonely, the anxious, the bereaved;
and amongst the sick for Judith Hill, Nancy and Jim Lawrenson, Jenny
Luckhurst, Christina Billington, Brenda Quarmby, Michael Taylor, Susanne
Kirkby, Muriel Norman, Ann Gibb, Frank Grottick

those who have died recently:
and
at their anniversaries pray for: Hugh
Gardner, Florence Smith, Winifred Coldham
We give
thanks for our communion with all the Saints, especially the Blessed Virgin
Mary and St Peter our patron.

Saints’ the weekly prayers are for everyone who lives in North Road.
