THE PARISH OF BERKHAMSTED St Peter’s with All Saints’ PALM SUNDAY – 13 April 2003 |
Eucharistic
Prayer A is being used at Holy Communion Services today
We welcome
all who worship here today. If you are
a newcomer please speak to one of the welcomers or to one of the clergy. Communicant members of all Churches are
welcome to receive Holy Communion. If
you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar rail for a blessing
and carry a book so the minister knows.
Collect: Almighty and everlasting God, who in your tender love towards the
human race sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ to take upon him our flesh
and to suffer death upon the cross:
grant that we may follow the example of his patience and humility, and
also be made partakers of his resurrection;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with
you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AMEN
Readings: Isaiah 50.4-9a
Philippians 2.5-11 Mark
11.1-11
Post Communion: Lord Jesus Christ, you have taught us that
what we do for the least of our brothers and sisters we do also for you: give us the will to be the servant of others
as you were the servant of all, and gave up your life and died for us, but are
alive and reign, now and for ever. AMEN
